Ryanair baggage policy

Cabin Bags

You can take ONE small personal bag per person on board, this includes a laptop or ladies hand bag. Small cases are not permitted unless you pre-book this service, details will be provided on how you can add this service after you have made your booking.

The maximum size of the small size bag must be no larger than 40x20x25cm, including handles. These must be placed under the seat in front of you and not in the overhead locker as these are reserved for people who have pre-booked a cabin bag.

If you turn up at the airport with any bag over the agreed small bag size stated, Ryanair will charge you €25 per bag.

If you are carrying any medicines that you will need during the flight, we advise that you have these already separated in a small clear bag, we also suggest you keep any travel documents and ID papers on you.

The Ryanair hand baggage policy is strictest of all the low-cost airlines, so please remember if you do require a small case it is simple to add on after the booking has been made at a cost of approx. €8 euros, this will include your small personal bag, a small case up to 10kg and priority boarding.
